Buggenhout, 29-11-2011: 29 Girls, 2 goals, 1 ball. Buggenhout being the place where it was about to happen. The Hunting Bees were hungry for their first victory and the Rhinelles wanted to secure their position.

And on the whistle they moved.

The first five minutes, everyone held their ground and nobody succeeded in breaking through the defence. In the sixth minute Emmelie C scored the first goal for the Rhinelles, quickly followed by Hunting Bee Saskia P making it a tie. 8 and a half minutes into the game Séraphine Aelterman saw a clear run to the goal and took it. 1-2 Rhinelles.
But there was no time to cheer, the next two goals were came from the Hunting Bees;  Yasmine De Bleser and Katherina Prochazka secured their team’s lead. The first half ended with Séraphine scoring the Rhinelles’ third goal in the last few seconds.

The Hunting Bees got off to a roaring start in the second half; first a spotless goal from Vicky Wegge followed by another one from Katherina. The Rhinelles had some trouble catching their breath but an assist from Kiani De Win allowed Séraphine to give her team some breathing space. ….which was quickly lost as Katherina and Saskia scored two more goals for the Hunting Bees. Time out. With both sides running like there was no tomorrow it took a couple of minutes for the next goal to come, but with a crease roll, Yasmine managed to get the ball in. 8-4 Bees. The two last goals for the Rhinelles scored by Linde Nuyts and Séraphine couldn’t keep the Hunting Bees from the honey that was victory.
8-6 Hunting Bees and the promise of an exciting final on the 26^th of Novembre. STIX UP!!!!
