Brussels, June 12th: Our national team, the Belgian Beast, are fully preparing for their first tournament and matches. In exactly 1 year they will play at the European Championships in Amsterdam and they have a lot of training to do! Their road to Amsterdam starts in… Amsterdam. The Beasts will play in the Lowlands tournament, one of the high level tournaments ni Europe. Our guys have been training once a week now and as a preparation they took on a selection of the best players in the Belgian League 2011. It was a difficult match, where it was clear that the team is not yet used to play with each other. BLL11 had something to prove and they played some solid lacrosse. The Beasts eventually got the upperhand and grabbed the win.
